    Pride Church Service
    Sunday, June 19th, 2016 at 10.45am
2014: Pride Church Service at Newmarket Luteran Church Continuing a tradition that dates back to 2002, York Region's 2014 Pride Week festival will include a Pride Church Service, which will be held this year at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Newmarket.
Holy Cross is a Christ-centred, open-minded, inclusive, compassionate, justice-seeking community. The church provides worship that is diverse, flexible, thought-provoking and relevant to our challenging times. It welcomes, as members of its extended family, all those who have ever felt excluded by the Church because of their race, gender, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental challenges, financial resources or family status.
The service will include participation by members of PFLAG Canada York Region, after which light refreshments will be provided by members of the church.
