2008 Picnic Our main event this year will again be held at the Community Safety Village, within Bruce's Mill Conservation Area near Stouffville.
The conservation area is home to a mill pond and restored mill, from which the park takes its name.
Bruce's Mill Although our event is scheduled for the afternoon, the park will be open from 9am-9pm and offers many other attractions including nature trails, forests, picnic areas and a driving range.

As with all our events, we extend an invitation to all families and friends, not only within the LGBTQ2 community but also the community at large.
Community Safety Village The Community Safety Village is located in the heart of the conservation area. This York Regional Police facility is used to teach fire, traffic and personal safety to primary school children.
Our event will offer a unique opportunity to tour the village, which contains paved roads and sidewalks, operating traffic lights, a working railway crossing signals and lights, playground and 30 miniature buildings.
Picnic Area For our picnic and BBQ, we will be making use of the Picnic Pavilion and Peace Tree Garden within the safety village, .
CSV Building The Community Safety Village facility also provides an undercover area that we will use in the event of adverse weather conditions, as well as an indoor community space.
